Muncie based artist Mary Arnett-Delaney discovered zine-making after she graduated with a BFA in Painting from Ball State in 2016. Feeling lost and indecisive, she found that making zines (small, self-published magazines) offered a quick, DIY process to get thoughts out into the world and to simply make something! She has since combined her passions of poetry, collage, and design to form her zine art practice. She makes zines as a way to process feelings and to find humor and sincerity in a wide range of topics, such as grief and the daily grind.
