FUTURE OF WORK GOALS
MUNCIE TECHNOLOGY AND ENGINEERING NETWORK (MTEN) operates as a key convener to link and promote science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) educational programming in Delaware County.
Madjax’s Future of Work Action Lab leads groups through applying our key values of curiosity, connection and purpose to mobilize collective strengths toward action-driven solutions. The Action Lab process incorporates Strategic Doing, Asset Based Community Development, SOAR Analysis, Human Centered Design Thinking, and Results Based Accountability.
ACTION LABS
Explore new areas of innovation, creativity and connection through one-of-a-kind workshops led by professional artists, makers and community partners. Past programs include Maker Mondays, Storytelling Pottery for older adults, Intro to Accessible Technology, and Rain Barrel Making.
MAKER PROGRAMMING
The Muncie Technology and Engineering Network (MTEN), a partnership between Madjax and Purdue Polytechnic, is a key convener to link and promote science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) educational programming in Delaware County. Activities include youth and family workshops, workplace field trips, robotics training and competitions, and educator training and support.
MTEN
The Educator Maker in Residence program is a year-long fellowship program for professional educators to collaborate, build skills, share tools and inspire a maker mindset. Educators are developing community-based learning experiences that amplify their own curiosity, are meaningful to students, and relevant to the local workforce.
